God’s delays never prevent his purpose. It pays to be patient. Maybe God is asking you to be patient to grow your character, grow your happiness, or grow your trust in Him. God rewards patience. Delay is not the same as a denial. Learn the difference between “No” and “Not yet.” This life is a dress rehearsal for Heaven. Patience is the opposite of revenge; that’s hard to remember when we’ve been hurt or insulted.
