The brothers start with Evan discussing his frustrations in trying to find a literary agent to help get his first novel published, including all the hoops one has to jump through and staying optimistic in the face of rejection. They then dive into Hobo Chili, where on the surface a person or work of art can be good, but underneath its nothing but garbage.
