‭-‬61 RVA2015:“¡Bendito sea el SEÑOR, que ha dado descanso a su pueblo Israel, conforme a todo lo que él había prometido! No ha fallado ninguna palabra de todas sus buenas promesas que expresó por medio de su siervo Moisés. El SEÑOR nuestro Dios esté con nosotros, como estuvo con nuestros padres; no nos desampare ni nos deje. Incline él nuestro corazón hacia sí, para que andemos en todos sus caminos y guardemos sus mandamientos, sus leyes y sus decretos, que mandó a nuestros padres. Que estas palabras mías, con que he suplicado delante del SEÑOR, estén cerca del SEÑOR nuestro Dios, de día y de noche, para que él ampare la causa de su siervo y la de su pueblo Israel, según la necesidad de cada día; a fin de que todos los pueblos de la tierra sepan que el SEÑOR es Dios y que no hay otro. Sea, pues, íntegro el corazón de ustedes para con el SEÑOR nuestro Dios, a fin de andar en sus leyes y guardar sus mandamientos, como en este día”.-----En este capítulo vemos la dedicación del templo al Dios de Israel. Estos eventos los vamos a volver a ver con más detalles en el libro de 2 de Crónicas.Aquí podemos ver la oración de dedicación del templo al Señor. Al principio, Salomón hizo una oración de súplica al Señor para que escuche las oraciones ofrecidas a Dios cuando el pueblo ore en el templo. Después, hizo una oración de bendición al pueblo así como un padre orando por su familia. El líder espiritual y gobernante de Israel oró al Señor intercediendo por el pueblo reconociendo unos puntos importantes. Primero, en el verso 56 reconoció la fidelidad de Dios, que cumple lo que promete. Lo adoró por Sus grandes promesas cumplidas por generaciones.Segundo, en el verso 57 pidió al Señor que su compasión y misericordia no los desampare ni los abandone; que Su presencia siempre los acompañe.Tercero, en el verso 58 pidió al Señor que siempre se haga Su voluntad en ellos, que ablande sus corazones para que siempre sean sensibles a la voz de Dios. Cuarto, en el verso 59 dijo confiar en que Dios tenga siempre en cuenta la oración de Salomón para que siempre le conceda las peticiones de su corazón, supliendo las necesidades del pueblo, cualquiera que sea, como demostración a todos los pueblos de que el Dios de Israel es el único Dios vivo y todopoderoso.Por último, Salomón advirtió al pueblo a que sea fiel, que vivan en integridad para que todas las bondades de Dios sean sobre ellos y que se cumplan todas estas peticiones de Salomón por el pueblo. Sigamos ejemplo de Salomón que intercedió por el pueblo delante de Dios, pidiéndo la bendición del Señor sobre ellos y persistiéndoles a que permanezcan firmes. Recordemos que los grandes líderes hicieron oraciones de intercesión por su pueblo en momentos decisivos como Daniel, Nehemías, y también nuestro Señor Jesucristo que siempre intercedió por sus discípulos.Vuelve a estudiar estos versos que te servirán como una guía de oración al Señor cuando entres a Su presencia para interceder por los demás. Meditemos: Como líder de tu hogar, ¿estás intercediendo por tu familia ante Dios? ¿Estás siendo específico al Señor de cómo quieres que Él los bendiga? ¿Estás continuamente recordando a tu familia que vivan vidas íntegras?Soy Eduardo Rodríguez.🇺🇸1 Kings 8: A father's intercessory prayer for his home.1 Kings 8:56‭-‬61:“Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us, that He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers. And may these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before the Lord, be near the Lord our God day and night, that He may maintain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel, as each day may require, that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no other. Let your heart therefore be loyal to the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day.”-----In this chapter we see the dedication of the temple to the God of Israel. We will see these events again in more detail in the book of 2 Chronicles.Here we can see the prayer of dedication of the temple to the Lord. At first, Salomon made a prayer of supplication to the Lord to hear the prayers offered to God when the people pray in the temple. Later, he made a prayer of blessing to the people as well as a father praying for his family.The spiritual leader and ruler of Israel prayed to the Lord interceding for the people, recognizing some important points. First, in verse 56 he recognized the faithfulness of God, that He fulfills what He promises. He adored Him for His great promises fulfilled for generations.Second, in verse 57 he asked the Lord that His compassion and mercy not abandon and forsake them; that His presence always be with them.Third, in verse 58 he asked the Lord to always have His will done in them, to soften their hearts so that they would always be sensitive to the voice of God.Fourth, in verse 59 he said he trusted that God would always take Solomon's prayer into account so that He would always grant him the desires of his heart, supplying the needs of the people, whatever they were, as a demonstration to all the peoples that God of Israel is the only living and almighty God.Finally, Solomon warned the people to be faithful, to live in integrity so that all the goodness of God may be upon them and that all these requests of Solomon for the people are fulfilled.Let us follow the example of Solomon who interceded for the people before God, asking for the Lord's blessing on them and insisting that they remain firm.Let us remember that the great leaders made intercessory prayers for their people at decisive moments like Daniel, Nehemiah, and also our Lord Jesus Christ who always interceded for His disciples.Go back to study these verses that will serve as a prayer guide to the Lord when you enter His presence to intercede for others.Let's meditate: As the leader of your home, are you interceding for your family before God? Are you being specific to the Lord about how you want Him to bless them?
