Amit, who has played more than 100 games for the Indian Men’s Hockey Team, said that playing on home turf is a great feeling and praised the fans for being a source of motivation for him and his teammates. The defender also added that many people have already told him about how they’re eagerly awaiting the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.

A Bronze medallist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Amit explained that the Indian Men’s Hockey Team are taking their preparations for the showpiece event in January step by step.
