In today's educational episode host CHad Bouton talks with guest Richard Chatham. Richard Chatham is the current Executive Director at MIRA Foundation USA. MIRA Foundation USA is a national non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing independence and quality of life for blind children. MIRA USA holds the distinct honor of being the first organization in North America to match blind children between the age of eleven and sixteen with a guide dog. I talk to Richard today about how they not only help blind children, but also offer educational seminars to families on vision loss. Additionally, Richard and I spend a lot of time emphasizing how so many organizations focus on older adults and do not offer services to children.
