Yuri Gagarin (9 March 1934 - 27 March 1968), was a former Soviet Union aviator and astronaut. He was the first human to go into space on April 12 , 1961....After traveling to space, Gagarin became an international figure of honor and was awarded a number of medals and titles. One of those titles was the Hero of the Soviet Union . He made his journey in an spacecraft called Vostok 1 . 1 9 68 when they MiG-L5 (MiG-L5) died due to it were operating training called plane crashed.  The Yuri Gagarin Medal is awarded in his honor.[@HindiAwaaz™]
