Human life is a delicate, intricate thing. Is there “value” in human life? I had a student once say, “I don’t care that she’s human.” It is interesting to me that for some people, they see no value in human life. Whereas for me, I think it can truly be an exceptional experience. I have studied the Holocaust in great depth, and that is an event in history that brings that question of “What does it mean to be human?” to the forefront. Unfortunately, there are several other events in history that have destroyed human life. So what does this mean? What does it mean to be human?
