We caught up with Bas de Bever combing through his career as a racer, competing and winning his first World Championship of many back in 1983, through the 80s and early 90s transitioning into a very notable mountain bike career before moving into setting up and coaching the Dutch National Team back when BMX first became an Olympic sport. A position he has held until recently when he called it a day after a very successful many years and Olympic cycles under his belt.

We talk about why the Dutch have always been so strong in BMX over the last 3 decades, past sponsors, coaching talk and some of the guys Bas has battled with in BMX from Eric Minozzi to Wilco Groenendaal and Christophe Leveque. Lots more. Check it out.
