Cheryl became Ohio State’s chief nursing executive (CNE) and patient care services officer in August 2019. As CNE, Dr. Hoying is charged with advancing strategic initiatives, developing an integrated nursing leadership structure, promoting interprofessional collaboration, creating common operational systems for workforce planning, ensuring excellence in nursing practice and maintaining and advancing Magnet® designation.
