Getting started in the beauty industry when she was still in high school turned out to be the beginning of a career journey for Kelly Mulligan. But working her way up from the appointment desk to shampoo assistant, with her sights on one day being a stylist, was also a lesson in perseverance. Working with 25+ stylists, it was common to hear remarks of discouragement about the high number of competitors and perceived lack of financial opportunities in the field.Today, she's a business owner, 5-time recipient of The Knot's Best in Weddings, and 4-time winner of Wedding Wire’s Couple’s Choice award.
