When Jesus came and called His disciples, He said, “Follow me.”
Living the Christian life is a process of pursuing Christ, of being conformed
to His image. This journey toward Christian maturity requires us to
have some good examples that help us toward the goal. It requires us
to avoid some bad examples that will lead us away from Christ. And it
means that we will have an eternal perspective on all that happens in our
