Episode 235: Hebrew Solidarity
What does the future hold for Hebrew Israel while living in exile, and how can we influence the political, social, and economic environments in which we live without compromising our commitment to Yahweh?
In this thought-provoking episode of Hebrews in Exile, we examine the challenges and responsibilities facing Hebrew Israelites as a distinct community functioning within a greater nation. While subject to political systems, laws, and institutions beyond our direct control, Hebrew Israel must consider how to establish a meaningful presence, exercise collective influence, and create opportunities for long-term stability, success, and prosperity.
Central to this discussion is a fundamental question: Can Hebrew Israel achieve lasting success in exile without first establishing a community infrastructure rooted in the mitzvot of the Most High Yahweh?
We explore the importance of building strong institutions, developing political awareness, encouraging economic cooperation, strengthening community leadership, and creating a unified vision for future generations. More importantly, we examine why our pursuit of political influence and prosperity must remain subordinate to our covenant obligations and the commandments of Yahweh.
Our future cannot depend solely upon the political decisions of the greater nation in which we reside. It must also depend upon our willingness to organize, take responsibility for our collective condition, and establish a community whose principles, governance, and conduct reflect the ways of Yahweh.
Hosted by Moreh Robert B. Holman Jr., with Moreh Malka and Moreh Sean Appleton, this episode challenges Hebrew Israel to look beyond the circumstances of exile and consider what must be done today to secure a stronger tomorrow.
The question is not simply whether Hebrew Israel can survive in exile, but whether we can build, prosper, and positively influence the world around us while remaining obedient to Yahweh.
Hebrews in Exile — One people, one covenant, one commitment to Yahweh.
