Light therapy—or phototherapy, classically referred to as heliotherapy—consists of exposure to daylight or specific wavelengths of light using polychromatic polarized light, lasers, light-emitting diodes, fluorescent lamps, dichroic lamps or very bright, full-spectrum light.
