This episode is a little different because it will focus on techniques to help others change their behavior to be more healthy. It is aimed at caregivers or professionals, who care for others who want to achieve better health or self improvement.
Our guest is Dr. Howard Jacobson, PhD. Howard is one of my biggest influences in the podcast arena and in the how to live your best and healthiest life arena. I am privileged to have him on the HealthRules podcast as our very first guest. Howard hosts one of my very favorite podcasts, the Plant Yourself podcast. What an amazing resource Plant Yourself is.
I do not know of a better way to learn how to live your best life than to listen to Plant Yourself, which is refreshingly free of commercial influence.
Howard has authored numerous books including my personal favorite Proteinaholic with Dr. Garth Davis, as well as Whole with Dr. T. Colin Campbell. More recently Sick to Fit with Josh Lajaunie and Use the Weight to Lose the Weight also with Josh Lajaunie.
Since I have personally been coached by Howard, I can vouch that he is a sensitive and gifted coach who has gone deep into the science of behavior change. In his practice, he has coached thousands of people and other coaches, to help people learn how to overcome almost any kind of barrier and achieve our very best.
