Norma Joyce currently volunteers with a non-profit organization in Charlotte, NC to help mentor and empower young women suffering major social injustices.

Her book, Island Girl: A Triumph of the Spirit, is the true story of overcoming adversity that is seen and inner struggles that are unseen. Her mission is to empower women to overcome identity issues, find a meaningful purpose and lead an extraordinary life through spiritual development.
