Tim is a former soldier who had experienced neglect since childhood and also had his world come to a halt with his diagnosis of bipolar disorder, which exacerbated his abuse of alcohol and narcotics.

Today he not only is an advocate of sobriety, but he also is actively involved with outreach amongst scarred veterans.
