Renard Bridgewater is a New Orleans based musician (performing under the moniker Slangston Hughes), organizer and cultural advocate who works as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the Music and Culture Coalition of New Orleans (MaCCNO).  He is also a member of the New Orleans coalition Eye on Surveillance.
