We were absent last week because the arrival of a dog in our home has caused quite the commotion. We had the deluxe edition of At the Water’s Edge recorded by Abby Craden and it’s available everywhere now. And Harper’s other scandalous romance, In the Distance There Is Light, has been out for six years!   We really loved season two of The Capture on the BBC. The writing of Harper’s current work-in-progress is going very slowly. There will be a lot of drama before it’s done.   Harper has revealed her fantasy casting for A Family Affair on her blog. And we’ve received the audio recordings from Abby Craden, so it’ll be available to listen to very soon.   We binged The Dropout on Hulu. Amanda Seyfried should get an Emmy for her performance.   Caroline’s book is The Other Mother by Rachel M. Harper. It’s a new age-gap romance in the ever expanding BlissVerse.    We’ve been watching too much Premier League football. In between matches, we binged A League of Their Own on Amazon. Harper loved it but has some remarks. Harper is preparing to start writing her next book, but she hasn’t even told Caroline anything about it yet.   We finished Better Things and we already miss it so much. We binged Belgian show Pandore, but really hope that the upcoming second season will deliver on the comeuppance of a certain character. We’re back after a long hiatus, hurray! And Harper wrote a book while we were off the air: A Family Affair. It’s available to buy direct now, or will be available on Amazon only (and in Kindle Unlimited) as of 17 August 2022 (for at least three months). This book was supposed to be more “women’s fiction” but ended up “scandalous lesbian romance”.   We’re seriously thinking of getting a dog and are looking for any tips for introducing a dog into a diva-cat household.   In television news, we’re currently loving Better Things and Paper Girls. Harper is enjoying once-a-year flow in the writing of her new book and all she wants to do is write.    The audio of The Duet is back from Abby Craden, so it will be out soon!   Caroline is working on our first foreign language publication, oui oui!   We haven’t watched as much television as usual because we’ve been enjoying the nice weather in our garden. The Duet launched without a glitch and even made it to number one in the Amazon lesbian fiction chart, so thanks to everyone who bought it!   Harper has gone back to writing what she calls her most scandalous book yet. But she feels taking a longer break between books is beneficial to her writing.   Once in a Lifetime was mentioned in a Masterclass blog post, which means Harper is mainstream.   We’re really enjoying Bosch Legacy, even though it’s on a weekly release schedule.
