Dr. Sharon Acoose is a person of lived experience with substance use and street life.

She has been on a healing journey for the past 30 years. And in that time she went on from street life to earning a Ph.D. in Indigenous Social Work.

Today she is a University Professor teaching Indigenous Social Work here in Saskatoon, SK.
Join the conversation live this week as we listen to Sharon talk a little about her journey, and a lot about the ethics and social justice around substance use in our communities,

particularly the issue of regentrification and how it will displace an already marginalized community.
