"Melissa Smith is the Founder & Executive Director of Backlight Productions, a theater arts program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Nashville, TN. She is also the author of the developing children's book series 'Friends of Franklin County' that encourages understanding and friendships between children of all abilities. Melissa lives in Franklin, TN, with her husband and 2 kids."
