Having been greeted at the castle entry by a handsome paladin suspiciously named Lazarus, the quartet discover time is not on their 5th party member's side.  As Lazarus begins to show signs of shedding his mortal coil, the adventurers learn of the book that has followed them through each variation of their quest. This time the mysterious tome might hold the secret for keeping the new found companion alive.
