Tommy Calvert was elected Bexar County Commissioner for Precinct 4 in 2014 and is one of five chief executives of county government. He is the youngest and first African-American County Commissioner in Bexar County. Tommy helped raise $44 million dollars in foreign investment from investors in countries such as Vietnam, China, Nigeria, and Latin America for the Arts Residence and Thompson Hotel.
