Jimmy Mac sits down with Chris Miles, Military Relations Manager at Sonepar and a retired Army combat veteran. Chris shares what combat on Route Irish in Afghanistan taught him about leadership and community. He explains his path from command sergeant major to corporate veteran advocate. He talks about his work with Sonepar’s Military and Veteran Program and his push to build strong support systems for service members and families.


He also breaks down upcoming veteran focused events. This includes Sonepar’s proposed support for the December 2025 Madden Tournament, the Month of the Military Child in May 2026, and the 2026 Veteran Ready Summit Gaming Activation.
