Abbie is a 4th-year pharmacy student from Lakeland, Florida. She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree in Criminology and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at UF as well. During pharmacy school, Abigail sought out non-traditional pharmaceutical industry experiences and had the opportunity to intern at Gilead Sciences in HIV Prevention as well as Bristol Myers Squibb in Immunology. The experiences allowed her to build her business acumen while using her clinical knowledge from pharmacy school. In August of 2019, she wanted to combine her passion for entrepreneurship and hairstyling into a business that is now called “The Lush Look”.  She creates customized wigs for her clients and offers clip-in hair extensions as well. After graduation in May 2021, she will be moving to Boston, Massachusetts to start her post-doctoral fellowship at Sanofi Genzyme in Immunology. She will also be working in conjunction with MCPHS University as an adjunct clinical professor. Don't miss out on this opportunity to hear from a young leader in our community!
