<p>2019 was a year of transition for Grassroots. New pastor, new vision, mission, and values statements, new teams...etc. And while that seems to be a lot to accomplish in 1 year, we did it. Now, we enter into 2020 and we are prepared for this new decade. Join us as we enter into the '20's' full steam ahead and ready to see what God does in our community and in our city.<br></p>

Grassroots was started in 2009 by seven people in a living room who felt God calling them to plant a church in the heart of downtown Rockford. Since then, we’ve been growing steadily by connecting with people of all backgrounds and are now a church of 50-75. Our name came out of Jesus’ teaching that the kingdom of God is like a mustard seed. It starts really small and grows into something significant, kind of like a grassroots movement.
