Tamas Ungvary was born in 1936 in Budapest and has an extensive classical music education. He was a double bass player in the Hungarian Philharmonic before he studied conducting. In the 60’s he came to Sweden and began composing electronic music at the Electronic Music Studio in Stockholm.
