In this debut AOLB I catch up with one of my first LA friends Miles Shannon, aka Cassowary, in one of the coolest home gardens I’ve ever seen. We chat cooking, coffee, jazz, food culture, food service, Silverlake, white people boating and more. Be sure to check out his highly regarded self titled debut record via Fat Possum at the link below, and check out his socials for cute selfies, bad tweets and updates on his live shows. Pt 2, coming Thursday.
