On Thursday 27 September, Karen Landi became a crime statistic. Apparently, 1 out of 10 hijack victims are taken and assaulted. That day her number was up. Her story is heartbreaking, tragic and somehow inspiring. She refuses to be a victim of this crime. She refuses to change the way she sees our country and our people because of 3 men who chose to viciously beat, assault and terrorise her.
