We're officially going to title this episode #ItsMay.
The show starts off with us lamenting the fact that there is no more Penguins hocket to watch, but we take solace and look back at the last two season to help us through it. Next, we move on to highlight and discuss the two series still happening. Will the Capitals prove they have what it takes, or will they be a bunch of choking dogs yet again?
Sticking with the #ItsMay theme, we overreact and discuss some of the hottest topics in baseball. The Yankees are off to a crazy hot start and look poised to keep pace with their rivals the Red Sox until the bitter end. We then take a look at our teams in the Phillies and Pirates, and Andy doesn't get too hyped-up because, again, #ItsMay.
The NBA playoffs have been a snore. We all thought we were heading towards another clash between Lebron and the Warriors, but the Celtics had other ideas. Do we think the Cavs can come back? How do we see the Western Conference Final playing out?
In the last episode, we realized we missed out on talking about "the ponies." We wouldn't make that same mistake twice. Before they talk bets and pole position, be sure to hear Jimi's warning about the infield at the Preakness.
It has not only been a busy few weeks on the field, ice, and court, but it has also been a momentous week off it as well. The Supreme Court struck down a 1992 law that now will allow states to draft their own regulation to allow sports betting. Most people see this as a good thing, do we? How do we think this effects sports going forward?
Finally be sure to stick around to the end to check out our One Awesome Thing in sports this week.
