Show notes
With Flyers defenceman Ivan Provorov boycotting the pre-game Pride Night activities in Philadelphia, and Flyers head coach John Tortorella backing him up in the post-game, Donnovan addresses the comments made by both player and coach after the Flyers 5-2 win vs. the Ducks. He brings on former NHL player Kurtis Gabriel to discuss where the Flyers go from here, and how we can all be better allies to the LGBTQ2S+ community (14:36). Afterwards, Donnovan checks in on the NHL's statement on what went on, and chats with Breakfast Television's Sid Seixeiro on what the NHL itself should do (if anything), and the league's 'Hockey is For Everyone' initiative (26:53).
