S1-E24 Brent Walker
He’s a wanderer, author, photojournalist, artist, father, curator,
craftsperson, a hugger, and more. He is Brent Walker, a man of many talents and
interests who is not afraid to reinvent himself as he fulfills his inner
callings.
I met Brent in 2018 in the French Quarter of New Orleans. He
was selling his book titled, The Hidden South. In it, I read the stories of forgotten
and broken people. Those stories broke my heart, and I wondered what kind of
man had the strength to record, then share them.
Over the next two months got to know him more and not only
learned about him, but I also learned something vital about myself that had remained
hidden for almost 10 years.
Brent learned an effective concept (selling by not selling) as
a result of making a simple cardboard sign. You may benefit from using the
concept yourself. In fact, you may benefit from some of Brent's other insights,
and life philosophies.
