Matthew"Whatdo you think? There was a man who had two sons, and he came to the first andsaid, 'Son, go and work in the vineyard today.' [29] And he answered, 'I willnot'; but afterward he regretted it and changed his mind and went. [30] Thenthe man came to the second son and said the same thing; and he replied, 'Iwill, sir'; but he did not go. [31] Which of the two did the will of thefather?" The chief priests and elders replied, "The first one."Jesus said to them, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you that thetax collectors and the prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you. There aretwo dimension to this teaching and it will help us to balance the decadencethat is happening in our world today. This dueto ranging of deception that crept into humanity. Moral was what we hold highnot Jesus. Result is what we embrace not relationship with the Holy spirit. The enemykept thrilling us into believing the end justify the means. The question iswith who? There isno problem in result because Jesus Christ talked about it: LukeThen Hebegan telling them this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree that hadbeen planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it, but did notfind any; [7] so he said to the vineyard-keeper, 'For three years I have comelooking for fruit on this fig tree and have found none. Cut it down! Why doesit even use up the ground [depleting the soil and blocking the sunlight]?' [8]But he replied to him, 'Let it alone, sir, [just] one more year until I digaround it and put in fertilizer; [9] and if it bears fruit after this, fine;but if not, cut it down.'" EvenJesus Christ want result from us. He expect every believer to be fruitful. Thequestion is what type of result is Jesus Christ asking of us? We havemixed what is right with what is good. Because it is good does not mean it isright. Meaningof Result: a thing that is caused or produced by something else; a consequenceor outcome. Result can either be negative or positive. God is asking for the right result. Note:WHAT WE ENJOY ON EARTH IS NOT THE RESULT OF OUR EXISTENCE ON EARTH. Whateverwe make of the earth and people in it during our existence on earth is whatmakes our result right or just good. Jesus hasgiven significant warning to many that pursue vain reward: Matthew"Noteveryone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, butonly he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. [22] Many will say toMe on that day [when I judge them], 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Yourname, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?'[23] And then I will declare to them publicly, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROMME [you are banished from My presence], YOU WHO ACT WICKEDLY [disregarding Mycommands].' Everyresult we seek as human was achieved in this scripture and yet there was norelationship with Jesus.
