Romans We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. Testing of our Faith: The      moment you claim you love God and believe in Jesus Christ, the world will      test your belief. Separation of chaff from      fruits: There must be a clear difference from the people of the world and      people of God. It is normal on earth: The      earth is not a perfect place for abode. Keep your faith alive.1 Peter These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. Keep your joy alive.1 Peter So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. Develop a vision. Don't compare your life.
