III has produced and directed over 200 music videos and television commercials. Wayne began his career in the entertainment industry for almost three decades initially working as an independent filmmaker as a production assistant and music video producer. Shortly after that, Wayne worked as a publicist for Grammy-nominated music producer Steve "Silk" Hurley and as Director of International A&R. John Wayne then joined DL Records as President & General Manager. After leaving DL Records, John Wayne revamped his production company with a focus on feature films, documentaries, and television programming. John made his film directorial debut with Red All Over.
