Ellie Rocco is a senior at Bishop Kelley High School and is on the state's Make a Wish leadership board.
Ellie grew up attending the School of Saint Mary. In 2017, following her sixth grade year, Ellie was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and moved to St. Jude for treatment. She continued chemotherapy until the end of her freshman year at Bishop Kelley.
After graduation Ellie plans to attend Missouri State University and major in Child Life Studies.
Currently, Ellie is involved in the Bishop Kelley Fine Arts program, she is the Publicity Officer for Student Council, and is on the Make a Wish Youth Leadership board. She is also a Brother Bernadine Scholar and created a Diagnosis Bundle for patients and families diagnosed with cancer moving to St. Jude.
