Founder and Managing Director of Books UnboundSophie has been working with refugees from Myanmar for the past 6 years around Southeast Asia, which inspired her to start Books Unbound. Books Unbound is a team of crowd-sourced artists and educators who develop contextualized picture-based learning materials. She works closely with local and international NGOs to develop innovative and culturally sensitive education tools. While she runs her projects, she also works as a consultant for various UN agencies to develop materials for the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. She is mostly based in Bangladesh.
