Hit or miss, trending towards miss.
This dude really just claimed that his company has artificial general intelligence. Ok.

Worse over time
I can’t say I’m a fan of the more recent podcast episodes. It’s gone from discussing interesting technical problems to business to solely interviews with clients who hired ThoughtBot. High quality audio, low quality filler content.

The human side
Lindsey is a great host. She keeps the entire conversation moving and ensures that the discussions lead to thought starters for listeners, even when the topics being discussed might be highly technical. You're guaranteed to get something out of every interview. Lindsey's also wickedly funny so you'll never be bored. Give this show a go.

Compelling
One of a small number of podcasts I will listen to immediately when a new episode releases, skipping over others that have been in my feed longer. And one of an even smaller number of podcasts I will frequently listen to a second (or third) time. Really quality content and guests. I'm not in the software development industry but as a small business owner I regularly derive value.

I am not a programmer but love this podcast. Ben comes at the podcast as a programmer having to learn and run a software product which provides a lot of interesting insights. He discusses many aspects of running a tech product along with a large dose of info on a variety of other related business and life/work balance subjects which he always makes interesting. I often have to stop the podcast to jot down a note, idea or company name to look up afterwards. The podcast has gone thru a couple of stages/changes which might have sunk most other podcasts but Ben does such a fantastic job that I can't wait for the next episode. If you have an interest in a tech startup issues, being a software product manager or entrepreneurship this podcast is a must listen, it will give you great insights and ideas and will charge you up.

Great insights
This podcast is one of my favorite recent discoveries. I like how Ben and Chris are transparent in how they have been growing their products. For that alone, you’re already getting valuable insights.

New style is superb
I started at episode 176+ and the new format is excellent. But not only that, but the backlog is incredibly valuable. Highly recommended!

Great interviews
These interviews are always amazing and never run over long.

Giant Robots Fusion
The information density of this podcast is high, probably due to the energy created by all the giant robots smashing into one another. The audio quality is great, the guests are fun, the conversation flows, and I learn a lot about the people and their products (all in 30-45 minutes or 15 - 22.5 min if listening like a robot at 2x) Thanks to Ben, Chad, Igor and the rest of the thoughtbot crew on this fun podcast that makes learning about Ruby and Rails more fun each and every week.

An Extremely Informative Podcast for Anyone Who Wants to Run and Grow a Software Company
I discovered this podcast a while ago, and it is really great. Each week there are awesome and interesting guests on the show who have insightful and valuable things so say about software development and the business of software development. I haven't listened to all of the episodes from this podcast yet, but I am really looking forward to continuing to listen to the podcast and learn even more!

Awesome guests
Love the recent episode with Tenderlove

Yep, it's that good
I love tech and I love people. This podcast has the best of both. Ben Orenstein is ever-entertaining but always digging for the gold his interview subjects bring with them. Always honest and often surprisingly personal -- which I intend as the greatest compliment. Keep bringing it!

Informative & Entertaining
One of the best podcasts I listen to about programming (not that it is always about programming)! I gleefully look forward to Monday commutes as this is what I am playing.

This is one of my "absolutely cannot miss an episode!" Podcasts. Ben has a laid back style that really makes the guests comfortable and in turn creates awesome interviews.

Love the style.
The podcast is consistently good with great guests, great host and a nice "to the point without taking it self too seriously" style.

Most Excellent
Very well done. Ben is a superlative interviewer and allows his guest to dive deep into a subject, asks probing questions, and is not afraid to disagree.

Great from the start
Most podcasts take a while to get good. Ben and the guys at thoughtbot have put out a great series from the start. Great topics and experts from thoughtbot. Covers rails, software design and business topics.

Well done
Great host. Good guests. Bam.

Very stimulating
I've been turning more and more to podcasts in favor of radio, tv, etc because the content is actually thought-provoking. This is a great example of why I am loving podcasts. In my particular situation, I'm a developer that works from home so I don't really get a chance to interact with other professionals very often. Only 2 episodes so far, but I definitely like.

Great.

peek behind the curtain
As someone learning Rails, Ruby and all the other fun stuff, it is very interesting to hear professionals at a very well known company discuss how they do things in the real world. Very thoughtful podcast.
