This week's gritty guest in our baseball series is my friend Connie Brown. She was a gritty beast of a competitive swimmer and athlete who competed at the University of Texas at Austin and competed in the Olympic Trials. Her story is inspiring as she was nationally ranked at such a young age and struggled with never having a passion for the sport she was so good at. Also, she's a parent of an awesome 13-year-old boy who plays baseball with my sons. In this episode, we cover gritty parenting related to baseball and Connie's experience as a competitive athlete.
