In this episode, we discuss...The Habs' 2023-24 season is done. The Canadiens played their 82nd game VS the Detroit Red Wings and lost in the shootout. While their place in the standings is very similar to last year, it was certainly a season full of bright spots. Suzuki, Caufield, Slafkovsky, and Newhook all had career years. The goaltending situation has cleared up and the 3-goalie carousel ended. Lane Hutson and Logan Mailloux both played their first NHL games and produced. and so on. It wasn't all positive though, there were some bumps along the way, Josh Anderson had the worst season of his career, the injury bug hit early by taking Dach out during the second game of the season, Armia was waived and sent down to Laval, Xhekaj was sent down to Laval, Slaf struggled out of the gate. Yet, this was still a progressive season for the Montreal Canadiens.
