My name is Shannon Drummond and I'm a former elementary teacher turned full time entrepreneur (well transitioning to such). I created get out of the teachers lounge to be a resource for you, as you take the next step in your journey. It's a place for you to be encouraged by others who have found passion and purpose outside of the 4 walls of the classroom. Some found that passion in education while others like me have found their purpose outside of the education field altogether.
