Andreas Eklund earned this Ph.D. degree in 2016, and the title of his thesis was “Recurrent and persistent low back pain – course and prevention.” He currently works as a post-doctoral fellow at Karolinska Institutet and has clinical duties at a primary care rehabilitation unit. His research has mainly focused on psychological factors in chiropractic populations and maintenance care, and he has a particular interest in clinical outcome research applicable to practicing chiropractors. Andreas co-founded Hälsan Östertälje, a multidisciplinary primary care rehabilitation unit, working as an integrated team of health professionals, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, and Dietitians.
