The concern I would have would be possibly bringing it back home and infecting my fiancé or her kid," he explained.

Economics Professor Robert Mcnab said job seekers need to consider the risks before accepting or rejecting a job offer.

"Coming back into the job market is a complicated issue because you have to weigh financial risk versus personal risk," McNab said.

Another hazard to consider starting your job hunt too late.

“if you have the opportunity to go back to work it might be better to have job now, then to be looking with everybody else in July," McNab warned.

Mcnab advisees job seekers to set realistic expectations.

"We live in a changed environment now and you have to put a little more effort into where you're applying and what personal risk you are willing to accept," said.
