The Crimson or Scarlet worm of Psalm 22, verse six is called, Tola'at Shani in Hebrew. This little creature was collected off of trees, dried and crushed to make the red dye for the fabrics of the Temple including the Veil that separated the holy place from the holy of holy place.

This little Tola creature also tells the story of the cross and the blood of Jesus Christ. It willingly climbs up a tree one time in its life to give life to it's offspring. It sticks itself to the tree, and bursts open, dying that spot on the wood crimson, red for three days. After three days it turns white like snow and falls to the ground like the manna - the bread of heaven.
