After getting caught up in the discourse surrounding the movie “The Sound of Freedom” I got in the mood for a deep dive into another flick that exploited the people it purported to elevate- “Cannibal Holocaust”. I listened to 25 different podcasts and found 20 repeated the same conversations, largely reading aloud the entries on the movie from Wikipedia and IMDB. This podcast was one of the 5 that stood out enough for me to listen to more of their back catalogue. At the end of the day, this is one of the 4 that I subscribed to, finding that it has discourse and content that you won’t find on the vast majority of other podcasts. I hope you enjoy it as well.

A fun engaging podcast whose only downside is my hurts from buying all the movies they talk about. They cover a broad range of genre films and In always excited for the next episode.

Love this pod! These guys have an infectious energy and they cover a great range of film that keeps every episode fresh. Great insight and humor gives a nice blend of laughs and movie knowledge. High recommendation!

Genre Exposure is a breath of fresh air in the polluted landscape of film podcasts which all cover the same movies. Dustin, Jason, and Michael are knowledgeable, funny, and well-spoken when it comes to the movies they discuss and the genres under which those films fall. Highly recommended for both cinephiles who are familiair with all the titles they cover as well as for those willing to discover something outside their comfort zone.
