On today’s episode, freelance writers Tess Garcia and Isabella Gomez Sarmiento join us to talk the ever-changing media landscape, getting published in major publications while still in college, and much more.
Tess Garcia is a student at the University of Michigan who doesn’t really feel like explaining her major. She’s penned articles for InStyle, Teen Vogue, Ms. Magazine, Latina Magazine and more. She’s also a certified yoga instructor and sticks her head under the sink several times a day to replenish her curls.
Isabella Gomez Sarmiento is a Venezuelan writer based in Atlanta finishing her B.A. at Georgia State University. Her work has been published in CNN, Remezcla, Noisey, and more. She currently writes a political column for Teen Vogue and spends most of her time listening to Bad Bunny.
