Question: Registered Apprenticeship Programs have successfully bridged the gap ensuring equity in certain programs. How can these programs be leveraged, replicated, and modeled across different states for long-term care?
Round Table Discussion: With increasingly aging populations and disabilities from NCD’s discussions will be around talent ecosystems and the sustainability of long-term programs/ care centers. A glance at how they can be better equipped. This session will provide employers practical steps on how to bridge gaps in RAPs for Long- term care. Discussions will include disproportionate burden of health on minorities and tribal populations in the United States and how the workforce is also affected by unequal skills gaps. Solutions will be discussed and documented to provide a framework/toolkit for those interested in setting up a RAP for long-term care centers.
