TJ looks at an American comedy icon that has become a television series created by and starring lifelong comedian, actor & podcaster Marc Maron, who portrays as a fictionalized version of himself.

The series premiere features: Gina Gershon, Judd Hirsch, Denis Leary, Danny Trejo and a whole host of famous cult American film & television performers who join him in later episodes in the series.

This series watches a self-deprecating, anti-hero of recovery and retroactive learning swim through all the emotions and neuroses that make him who he is and yet also threatens to pull him apart.
