This Father’s Day weekend, we continue our sermon series through the letter of Ephesians by looking at one of Paul’s two prayers. He is in prison in Rome and hasn’t been seen by the Ephesians for at least six years. Yet, in Ephesians After a powerful introduction where Paul listed nearly all the blessings found in Christ, Paul stops and prays. He prays that the Ephesians would receive revelation from God to know all they have in Christ. It’s one thing to receive a gift; it’s another to appreciate it!In Ephesians, This weekend, we learn why Paul prayed and why an offered prayer is better than no prayer.
