Community Pharmacies are vital members of neighborhoods and the healthcare community. A major social determinant of health is access to healthcare - both providers and medications. Recently, Berenbrok and colleagues published research that showed community pharmacies are visited almost twice as much compared to primary care providers by Medicare beneficiaries annually.
