- Get a job as an Electrical Apprentice
- Enroll in a licensed Electrical Apprenticeship Program
- Take your test & pass all 3 parts
- Apply for a business permit
- Get all your insurances
- Get all your commercial vehicles commercially registered

Pete emphasizes that his job is incredibly rewarding, and that this discussion is not meant to discourage anyone from becoming an Electrical Contractor. Rather, it is to educate and inform those interested in entering the field, as well as clients, on what all it takes to become a licensed Electrical Contractor.
